Technical Specification

The Building Regulations exist to ensure the health and safety of people in and around all types of buildings. They also provide for energy conservation, security and fire protection and the safe access to and from buildings.

The Regulations contain minimum requirements A to R to which buildings in England must comply. In this section we look at products and systems designed and tested to meet requirements. We discuss the relevant standards with leading manufacturers and consultants, responsible for ensuring our built environment is fit for purpose. We also discuss the need to specify for procurement.
